### FAQ

• How do I delete my account?

Open the app → tap the You tab → tap the gear icon (top right) → scroll to the bottom → tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, trips, photos, saved places, and friendships. The action cannot be undone.

• How do I report a bug?

Email us at [email protected] with a screenshot if possible. We read every message.

• Why does the app ask for camera and photo access?

Camera is used to scan receipts so the app can auto-fill items, tax, tip, and the date. Photo Library is used to attach photos to your trips and activities. Both are optional — the app works without them; you'll just enter line items manually.

• Why does the app ask for location?

Location is used to find nearby venues when you log an activity and to read GPS metadata from photos you attach. Your location is never tracked in the background and never shared.

• Where is my data stored?

Your profile, trips, and shared content live on Firebase (Google Cloud). Photos are stored in Firebase Storage. Receipt images sent for AI parsing are processed by OpenAI and not retained for training.

• Is CrewCapsule free?

Yes. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads.
